The Missions & Outreach Ministry exists to help the members of First Church of God fulfill the Great Commission to Lead, Love and Serve. This ministry crosses geographic, cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic barriers for the sake of the gospel. The Missions and Outreach Ministry seeks to utilize the spiritual gifts of our members to glorify God and make His name known around the world. The Missions and Outreach Ministry offers many opportunities throughout the year for people to serve in His kingdom.
Extra Blessings Ministry
Extra Blessings Ministry provides toiletries and personal hygiene products for Monroe County residence. Items that are provided: toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo, body wash, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes and deodorant.
The distribution is the second Saturday of every month here at First Church of God, 2121 S. Custer Road. To receive items you must be a Monroe County resident and provide valid picture ID.

Celebrating Life in Recovery
Beginning in April 2017, this ministry will be meeting every Sunday evening at 6pm.
Celebrating Life in recovery is a faith based meeting to help people combat addiction. We are a support group of peers that meet weekly to help edify and encourage one another facing addiction.
If you are battling with any type of addiction, you are encourage to attend these meetings.
