My uncle Frank went to be with the Lord last year. He played guitar like my dad and I and wrote songs that were amazing. Here are some of his lyrics "I just want to be what He wants
me to be and I just want to thank Him for what He's done for me. One day He showed me what I nearly lost; then I knelt at His feet...at the foot of that old rugged cross". Christians often misunderstand the gift of salvation. It is not given for the purpose of making our lives happy, easy, and smooth-sailing. God's word clearly states that trouble can be expected in this life. Jesus said "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me". Salvation is more than a "gift" it's a way of life....
